Bus Transportation

Wesleyan Christian Academy is thrilled to be offering a new one-way morning bus route to our Greensboro and Northwest Guilford County families via our new fleet of buses. In partnership with our parents, students, and bus drivers, our goal is to provide safe and convenient morning transportation for our families.

Our pilot program in May 2019 was a huge success and we are excited to be offering this service for the entire 2019-2020 school year.

For more information or to ask additional questions, please contact the main academy office at (336) 884-3333. Thank you!

The bus stop addresses could vary up to a 1-mile radius depending on traffic patterns and other factors.

Costs & Billing

The bus service agreement is for the entire school year and the cost will be $100 per month for the first student and $50 per month for each additional student within the family. The months of August and December will be prorated by 50%.

Families will be billed for the bus service at the beginning of each month, with payment due by the last day of each month.  Unfortunately, financial aid is not available for this service and Wesleyan will not be able to refund money for weather-related cancellations.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather and/or delayed start times, Wesleyan's bus service will most likely not be offered. In these cases, parents will be responsible for driving their student(s) to school.

In the event that the bus service will not be running due to the reasons stated above, every effort will be made by Wesleyan officials to communicate this information via our emergency text alert system.

Bus Driver Information

Wesleyan Christian Academy administers both a criminal and a drivers background check on all academy-affiliated drivers. In addition, drivers of our larger buses are required to have a CDL (commercial drivers license) and are approved by the Wesleyan administration.
