Head of School Welcome
We're Glad You're Here.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to this great school we call Wesleyan!
Each day on our campus, more than 1,250 students in the Early Education Center all the way through the Academy's twelfth grade are exposed to an intellectually challenging curriculum and nurturing environment. As you will see through our website, students are provided with a number of opportunities to develop their God-given talents, through a broad range of activities including athletics, music, drama, service, and academics, among others.
Our vision derives from the Latin phrase, Scire et Vivere Veritatem, which means “To Know and Live the Truth.” We are a school community that passionately comes alongside parents to help support them in identifying and nurturing their child’s academic, spiritual, social, and physical gifts.
The Lord has been especially gracious to bless our school through amazing students and families over the years. Last year alone, $5.9 million in merit-based scholarships was offered to our graduating senior class, with 90% of them accepted into their college of choice. More than half of the 99 graduating seniors were recognized by the National Honor Society, and 75% were Beta Club members.
Over the years, we've seen that guiding children in the process of integrating faith and learning is best accomplished when the family and the school come together in this noble task. As we seek to expand God's kingdom by providing a high-caliber Christian education, we intentionally partner with our parents as they bring up their children to effectively impact this region and world for the advancement of God's glory.
Recognizing this great responsibility, we purposefully encourage students to pursue a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is why our selection of faculty and staff is so critical to our mission, "to know and live the truth." It’s a genuine blessing to be able to say to you that each faculty and staff member at Wesleyan is strongly committed to teaching students to be good stewards of God's gracious gifts.
Considering the influence, relationships, and academic preparation that encompass the education experience, selecting a private school for your children is one of the most critical decisions and important investments a parent will ever make. Since 1971, Wesleyan Christian Academy has provided a rigorous Christ-centered education in which God's truth is woven into every facet of the academy. Today, more than 1,800 alumni from Wesleyan have enjoyed exceptional academic achievement, athletic success, and accomplishment in the arts.
It is our commitment to every family that we will continue to pursue God's excellence and build upon Wesleyan’s great tradition. I invite you to spend a few minutes and review our website, to get to know us a little better.
Thank you for your interest and also for giving us the opportunity to share more about the unique opportunities at Wesleyan.
