What a privilege to be chaplain here at Wesleyan Education Center. This will be my 12th year, and I appreciate a school that will devote a full-time administrative position to ensure that Christian principles are taught, developed, lived out, nurtured, and put into practice. This is a great environment for the training and equipping of future leaders.
So what does a distinctively Christian school look like? It is a place where friendships are valued and relationships are built. It is a safe place that puts a high priority on academics but balances that with developing the spiritual life of each student and staff member. It is a place that assists each student in developing a Christian world view and gives them the opportunity to put that into practice in our school, throughout our community, and around the world.
My door is always open. I am an ordained minister and have been a pastor more than 27 years. I have no better credentials, however, than raising a family of my own. I look forward to being a part of students’ and families’ lives through the ministry of Wesleyan Christian Academy. Together, we can make a difference!
