Inclement Weather and School Closing Announcements
If it becomes necessary to close or delay the opening of the Childcare Center due to severe weather or other reasons beyond our control, announcements will be made on our website at www.wesed.org, the school recording at 336.884.3333, and televison stations WFMY - Channel 2 and WGHP - Channel 8. Every effort will be made to have the announcement on our website and school phone recording by 6:00 AM.
Normally, we will remain open on snow days, however, we may run an alternate schedule - delayed openings and/or early closing. If the Childcare Center has a delayed opening (8:00 AM or later), breakfast will NOT be available. If the Childcare Center has an early closing, the late fee will be effective at the revised closing time. Although Wesleyan Christian Academy may close, Wesleyan Christian Childcare may remain open, so please pay particular attention to announcements being made on the website, school phone recording, and/or television.
