Role
The school nurse's role is to promote a healthy and safe environment
for children, students and staff at Wesleyan Education Center. Location/Hours The school nurse's office is located in in the first room on the right as you enter the elementary hall. It is by the Elementary Hall of Fame. The school nurse is available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. when the academy is in session. When can he or she return to childcare?
Children should be fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to childcare. 3) What illnesses keep my child from attending childcare?
A chart of illnesses/conditions and symptoms and whether your child must be excluded from childcare is found by clicking here. 4) My child needs to take medication during childcare hours. How can he/she do this?
5) My child has a newly diagnosed health issue. Who should I inform?
